Evan Carter
Evan is a graduate student in her final year of pursuing a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in 2014, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Recreational Management and Leisure Studies. During her undergraduate studies, she gained experience in recreational therapy techniques that piqued her interest in the counseling and mental health field. After she graduated, she spent time as a program director for children and youth, where her passion for working with children and adolescents grew. She decided to return to school to pursue her dream of helping children and adolescents reach their full potential physically, mentally, and emotionally. Her goal after graduation is to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Play Therapist (R-PT), working with children, teens, and families of all backgrounds and walks of life, collaborating and supporting them in their behavioral and emotional wellness journey. In addition to her passion for counseling, she loves to travel and spend time with her dog, Archie, she is a huge fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, and she loves using her creative energy on new recipes in the kitchen.
Evan is conducting virtual therapy sessions for her practicum and internship under the supervision of Leigh Ellen Magness. She will be receiving weekly supervision and guidance from Leigh Ellen, and will be staffing every client with Leigh Ellen. Evan will be seeing individual clients for a reduced fee of $30 and group clients for $15 per week. To sign up for individual or group sessions, please fill out the form below.
